Today the class and I had a mission from our teacher. And the mission was that we had to to do Holy week. And the days were holy monday, teusday, Wednesday, Thersday Friday satureday and Ester Sunday it was also very fun.
Quokkas are the happiest animal in the world.
Quokkas are related to kangaroos.
These animals live over 10 years in the wild. In captivity they live up to 13.8 years [0671].
Although they usually crawl on all fours, quokkas also use their strong back legs to jump.
nocturnal, herbivorous, excellent climbers, and protected due to their vulnerable status.
zQuokkas (Setonix brachyurus) are small, herbivorous marsupials native to Western Australia, famously known as the “world’s happiest animal” due to their permanent, smiling expression. Roughly the size of a cat, these nocturnal creatures are found mainly on Rottnest Island, are excellent climbers, and can survive long periods without water.
Today St Patrick’s Panmure students journeyed out to Due Drop Centre in Manukau to experience using dance to express themselves and retell a Māori legend.
Upon arrival we were greeted by the Kaikanikani ō Atamira. We were introduced to each member and then took a short walk to stand in front of their Pou Tāonga and hear the story behind the creation of Pou Kapua, its elements and inspiration behind its creation. Then we all headed inside, removed our shoes and ran through a few warm up activities while facing each other in a great big circle. Following on from this, students were given a short dance routine to familiarise themselves with major Atua and creatures of land, forest, air and ocean.
After a short morning tea break, we were treated to a performance of the legend of Matakerepō and Tāwhaki by our Kaikanikani. Then students were split into 3 groups and worked on a short routine with an Atamira Kaikanikani, followed by a performance of all 3 routines together.
St Patrick’s School are so grateful for having this opportunity and would like to give our heartfelt thanks to Due Drop Centre for transporting us, hosting us and Atamira for imparting some of their knowledge onto our tamariki.
Tasmanian devil
The Tasmanian devil can only animal that can be found in a place called Tasmania. The Tasmanian devil can look very cute like a lost puppy but it’s very aggressive with its food and some Tasmanian devils fight each other Tasmanians. The reason its called a Tasmanian devil because of its black fluffy fur.
Tasmanian devils walk and hunt food alone; they are also one of the strongest bone crushers.
But even do they are very small, they are very powerful. And what mostly makes it strong are its teeth its teeth are really shark that it can through a full animal body.

Today we got to pick any kind of picture and the we color it in. It was very fun when we started to color in our pictures in. I chose a simple picture of Mary Joseph and Jesus. It did not take that long to color it in. I love my picture.
Advent is when you can see that it is almost christmas eve.There are four candles there are three purple candles and one pink candle. And they mean that the world’s special words joy, peace,love and hope.And when you go at church you can see that the priest is wearing the color purple which means it is lent.I enjoyed coloring and making my Advent picture. Advent is an annual Christian season of preparation for Christmas, commemorating the birth of Jesus and anticipating his Second Coming. It begins on the fourth Sunday before Christmas and lasts for four weeks, though the word “advent” itself means “coming” or “arrival”. Key practices include lighting Advent wreaths and candles, and each of the four Sundays traditionally focuses. It is great by doing it .
Today we were learning how to use the small squares into a piece of art. I made a wonder full picture of my favorite superhero.I also loved my friends beautifully pictures. I had a great time by doing Pixel Art.
